Mayara Russi’s Weight

Mayara’s weight has long been speculated about, but thanks to an appearance on a Brazilian TV show about, ironically, weight loss, in 2014, her fans were finally able to see how much that glorious body weighs. Unsurprisingly, it was more than “internet sources” had said.

Mayara Russi weighed 162kg, or 358lbs, in 2014.

This is confirmed by this image still, brilliantly captured from the show, which clearly states her starting weight was 162.2kg. Incredibly, her face appears slimmer than the other woman who is over 40kg lighter, showing what Mayara has had such success as a super plus size model.

Mayara then lost a lot of weight as a result of being on the aforementioned show, getting down to 209lbs in 2015.

She treated fans to some wonderful pictures in 2024, again though, and revealed herself to look even larger than she did in 2014.

Users on Reddit speculated she weighed about 375lbs in 2024.

Sadly, Mayara announced she would be using a weight loss drug at the beginning of 2025, mentioning she was struggling to hold a steady weight and while she wouldn’t do weight loss surgery, this was the best option for her. This decision caused some outrage among her fans online, as she’d previously been against weight loss surgery based on her posts on social media, but was fine to take another shortcut in the form of the drug.

This change, sadly, shows where we are in the Ozempic age where “thin is one again, in.” We recenctly bemoaned the hypocrisy around Diana Sirokai’s weight loss.
